I thought we might return to Crete. I'm being pulled from pillar to post right now. America or Crete, not forgetting the UK. I'll just have to spread the love about! Back to my most recent trip to Crete and back to the burnt out hotel from Crete! I was driving through the town of Hersonissos (Χερσόνησος) when I spotted this burnt out hotel from the roadside, right in the centre of town. I'm guessing it must have happened last year. Anyway, I couldn't resist having a poke around and even managed to get a few nice shots from the place. I have never shot here before but just for the record here is an aerial view of Hersonissos (Χερσόνησος) and the hotel's location.

Time wears away
All the pleasures of the day
All the treasures you could hold
Days turn to sand
Losing strength in every hand
They can't hold you anymore

Already dead to me now
'Coz it feels like I'm watching something die

Love looks away
In the harsh light of the day
On the edge of nothing more
Days fade to black
In the light of what they lack
Nothing's measured by what it needs

Already dead to me now
