I wondered what may have happened since my last post and it appears nothing! My moaning about the weather is becoming tedious to me so god only knows what it's doing to you, so that must stop now! I really have done nothing, not even taken many photos. Yes there have been a few snatched hip shots with the Diana+, thought I would run a few films through her just to see what I'm working with. I also made a camera purchase tonight...that's all I'll say until I have it and have used it. Ι do think though that I need to rid myself of some of the cameras I never use. It seems such a shame for them to sit here when others may get pleasure from them. Easy words, no doubt I will do nothing about it any day soon. Anyway, no more about the damn camera until I have taken a shot with it, watch this space.

The Village is Vrises (Βρύσες) a village I have taken many photos in before but not explored the possibilities of interiors. This place was rather interesting in that on the surface it seemed like an house but in fact was one room. There was a bed a table this tap with no sink and more icons than you could shake a stick at! Talk about hedging your bets with your ascension into heaven. Anyway the walls were covered in them, I was particularly drawn to this picture and the assemblage of icons. It was a confined space and took me an age to get the shot what with the damn tripod, me stood on a chair and the heat, my god the heat. Jan retreated to the outside whilst I lost the will to live. Vrises (Βρύσες) is a very pretty place so here is an aerial view of the area.

A southern breeze and this road I'm on
I wonder if I'll see the end
The city of my sleep where angels dream
Wrapped up closely to the dawn

Follow time, like a ghost
Follow time, like a ghost
I long to wander

I fell into an angel's dream
I think I left my senses there,
Along with all those forgotten things
I left my senses there

Follow time, like a ghost
Follow time, like a ghost, I long to wander

This is the time that we have longed for
That we have longed for
From far away, far away
I ask that you would stay
In my tranquil dreams
