The Bath Chronicle. Weekly And A Great Read. Get Yours From Stall Street, Bath!

I think that the best thing I can do is run away from this damn country's weather! I was about to say winter has returned but perhaps it's spring...anyway 17 degrees is not bloody summer! Oh, and don't send me emails outlining how gloriously hot it is with you as I won't read them and I'll hate you. I am in the process of looking for flights to Crete predictably! No doubt it will be to hot there and Jan will get bitten to buggery this time of year so perhaps if I manage it I will just sit in a shallow puddle of water. On the plus side the weather in the UK is preventing me gardening so hey...there you have it a positive from a negative, not generally something I am very good at.
Well, the computer problems continue at work. We are pretty much back to normal but not enough to get all work done...frustrating for many I'm sure....makes my skin crawl the nightmare that is a server falling on its ass and having to deal with the damn data recovery as backups always seem to be lacking somewhere. You think you have backed the lot up and then find gaping holes in yer plans.

More from the residents of Bath today. I was pondering taking you back to Crete but was sort of enjoying showing you my city form a low kind of hip angle! Not tourists on this occasion but a couple of people who I see on a daily basis....not a couple in that way...god biting tongue here as I am very likely to be politically incorrect if I'm not careful. It seems to come so naturally to me. Anyway, people have to make a living and I'm here to catch them on the job! If you have an interest here is an aerial shot of the area. Slightly off of the tourist routeand in an area where a lot of development is going on!

Wake up now little sleepyhead
from your nightmarish day with the dead trip
you'd be better off not to know
of the wild seeds you let go
from your thorny fingertips
try to clean bloodstained hands
that ran away and left the scene
of a crime last night
always thought you stood on the other side
never thought the roof would cave in
where you were hiding
there's a wave of fear that creeps right in
a vacant stare that can't say where it's been
or what's been laced,
the trail leads all over the place
there's an angel at your side
who rescued you in a nick of time
explains how you almost fell
and vanished into a fatal spell
she looks into your eyes and sees
there's something still missing
she notices a chunk bleeding from your chest
tries to stop the bloodflow with her best compress
but the wreckage is in a mess
there's an emotional tax, figured in after the facts
and stories unfold
the world grows dark and bones get cold
you look into your heart and you know
there's something still missing
