I seem to be in the grips of my annual hayfever assault right now. I seem fine all day then suddenly my eyes start to run, of curse the natural inclination is to rub them. I'm 50 for god's sake, I've been getting this since I was 14 I know not to touch them....I know what is to follow if I feel the beautiful relief that you get from rubbing them....bloody hours of discomfort...just like someone is rubbing the surface of my eyeball with sandpaper! Does it stop me? Does it hell......so now the whites of my eyes look like I have been up all night drinking cheap whisky and I can barely see through them for the running they are doing! Why am I telling you this? Other than that I have had quite a busy yet interesting day.

OK, more old people from the hip in Bath. I have decided to shoot a few rolls of colour to add to my 'old people shot from the hip with a plastic camera without them seeing me' series. These two particular charmers ended up inviting me to sit down as I was making their necks ache. They were terribly sweet and I kept them occupied whilst they were waiting for a friend that had been in the Roman Baths for ages! I swear she must have been a psychoanalyst in her working days as she managed to get all my medical history out of me with me barely noticing. Perhaps that was pay back for me secretly taking 4 photos of her. Anyway she was charming. Here is an aerial shot of their exact location in the churchyard.

If you want money in your pocket
and a top hat on your head
a hot meal on your table
and a blanket on your bed
well today is grey skies
tomorrow is tears
you'll have to wait til yesterday is here
Well I'm going to New York City
and I'm leaving on a train
and if you want to stay behind and
wait til I come back again
well today is grey skies
tomorrow is tears
you'll have to wait til yesterday is here
If you want to go
where the rainbows end
you'll have to say goodbye
all our dreams come true
baby up ahead
and it's out where your memories lie
well the road's out before me
and the moon is shining bright
what I want you to remember
as I disappear tonight
today is grey skies
tomorrow's tears
you'll have to wait til yesterday is here
