Did I mention that the car was damaged? I think I mentioned that the new car existed! Well whilst I was away and Jan was at work the wind blew the roof off of a bloody garage and onto the the new baby! Could have been a major amount of damage....but it only amounts to small digs and scratches but hey when you have just shelled out a stack of major cash it stings. No doubt now her work will wriggle and say it was wind and nothing to do with them and we'll end up being the losers...fingers crossed eh!
A beautiful day here, not as nice and warm as Crete was but hey wall to wall sunshine, I can ask no more than that. Had a little wander after work with the Holga then came home and tried to motivate myself for scanning! Not the most enjoyable of tasks but I see the savings with each film done. Perhaps I can get all these damn films done over the Easter break....which is this week so short week this week and next. Pretty damn sweet!
ok today's photo is another interior from Arnikou (Αρνικού) in the village of Kalo Xorio (Καλό Χωριό). A village in which the old and derelict houses seem to be gradually being bought up and renovated by the British much to the dismay of many of it's inhabitants! In the process much of the charm of the village is being lost. I'm sure the interest is due to it's proximity to the coast. Anyway this property was rather charming and seemed to possess all manner of complex spirits! As to it's location, here is an aerial view of the area which almost pinpoints it.
darling stop confusing me
with your wishful thinking
hopeful embraces
don't you understand?
i have to go through this
i belong to here where
no-one cares and no-one loves
no light no air to live in
a place called hate
the city of fear
i play dead
it stops the hurting
i play dead
and hurting stops
it's sometimes just like sleeping
curling up inside my private tortures
i nestle into pain
hug suffering
caress every ache
i play dead
it stops the hurting
