Shall I talk about my alcohol free weekend? Nah! The weather? Well Saturday was nice as promised, no photos taken but that's OK as I had a lot of catching up and thinking to do. Need to upgrade my web site so a little research down that road as I have no idea what I'm doing! Sunday grey, rain, brief excursion out but more web thinking which was a little easier as my head is bloody crystal clear without any alcohol at all. Not sure if I want my life this clear all the time but it has it's uses and our wine and gin bill could go down to such an extent as to have implications on the local economy.
Don't forget to pop over to the annual Photomedia Center Holga show. I have two images up for grabs which are The Bride Of Christ and The Shape Of Things To Come. Be sure to also check out all the other great photos that are on offer there.

OK more derelict windmills and the second from Νικιθιανό (Nikithiano). These were in a very poor state of repair but interesting never the less. Here is an aerial shot of the area and if I have done it right there should be a little marker to show you exactly where I was. The new highway now cuts right through the hillside that these mills are on. Sort of isolating them so perhaps they will be left alone to decay in peace.

Last night
I dreamed that I was dreaming of you
And from a window across the lawn I watched you undress
Wearing a sunset of purple tightly woven around your hair
That rose and strangled ebony curls moving in a yellow bedroom light
The air is wet with sound
The faraway yelping of a wounded dog
And the ground is drinking a slow faucet leak
Your house is so soft and fading as it soaks the black summer heat
A light goes on and a door opens
And a yellow cat runs out on the stream of hall light and into the yard
A wooden cherry scent is faintly breathing the air
I hear your champagne laugh
You wear two lavender orchids one in your hair and one on your hip
A string of yellow carnival lights comes on with the dust
Circling the lake in a slow dipping halo
And I hear a Banjo tango
And you dance into the shadow of a Black Poplar Tree
I watched you as you disappeared
I watched you as you disappeared
I watched you as you disappeared...
