Ah the weekend is upon us. I know that I have had a short week so I won't make a big deal about travelling, but I am pretty tired.....must be all that holidaying! I did have a bunch of cocktails tonight so feel slightly lashed in a very pleasant way. I think that I will have to tackle the garden over the weekend. Over 2 weeks away and some heavy frosts have left the garden in a real mess...that equals a ton of leaves on the ground so no big deal just need to get off of my holiday ass and pick them up. At least everything has stopped bloody growing so at least you feel that you are making some progress with it.
A nice 3 day week for me...I like to ease my way into these things slowly added to that the fact I work only 4 hours I don't have a lot to moan about but I'll try.

I don't seem to have gotten back into the swing of rambling on about nothing yet so I'll get on with the image. Taken on World Toy Camera Day I think. I call this lady the Bride of Christ. She has been wandering the streets of Bath for many years, probably the 20 plus years that I have lived here. Always dressed totally in white...full bridal wear. The message she displays changes but her calmness doesn't. I have never been sure how to take her....nutter or total devotee? If she is in full control then she has balls wandering around like this....the ridicule that she takes is quite sad. Constantly the butt of jokes...but still she wanders the streets of Bath.
Being polite I did ask if I could take her photo. She was very gracious saying it was fine as long as I got the message in the photo and that I understood what the message was about. I almost felt as if I was exploiting her...almost cocked up the photo as a result...took it in haste! Seem to have got away with it.

Here is a song from the wrong side of town
Where I'm bound to the ground by the loneliest sound
And it pounds from within and is pinning me down

Here is a page from the emptiest stage
A cage or the heaviest cross ever made
A gauge of the deadliest trap ever laid

And I thank you for bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally I've found that I belong here

The heat and the sickliest sweet smelling sheets
That cling to the backs of my knees and my feet
Well I'm drowning in time to a desperate beat

And I thank you for bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally I've found that I belong

Feels like home
I should have known
From my first breath

God send the only true friend I call mine
Pretend that I'll make amends the next time
Befriend the glorious end of the line

And I thank you for bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally I've found that I belong here
