OK so I have taken the computer to the computer doctor today. Dave, a man of few words and I would say limited sense of humour. He always gets to the root of the problem but I don't go there for his bedside manner. Anyway, I even managed to bring a smile to his face when I went through the chain of events on Sunday. Oh no, I'm not even sharing them with you, way to embarrassed! Lets just say the problem that I started with was made way worst by me, the extent of which I will report back to you with. As for the fine detail....well you may have to wait for one of those booze riddled nights when I have less to say than normal. He did say that the hard drives should be fine....although he's not to sure about the motherboard...now all say a prayer for me tonight please because he is looking at it in the morning and we need all the help we can get. OK, enough said about that I feel quite positive about it...at the moment, and I have raided the cat's piggy bank. He can't count anyway so will have no idea that I have been there.

Today's image was taken in the church yard of Bath Abbey. The Abbey Church of Saint Peter, Bath, commonly known as Bath Abbey, is an Anglican parish church and a former Benedictine monastery. Founded in the 7th century, reorganised in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries, it is one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the West Country. For more info have a poke around in the link back there.
I think there was some kind of Morris dancing festival going on here, kind of a like a battle of the bands but with people in clogs. Very exciting as you can imagine. The abbey is a wonderful place for peace and contemplation even if you have no faith...I love the place. Here is an aerial view, the area where this photo was taken is just below the Abbey building. It should be clearly visible in the photograph.
