So I went to the doctors today...no, not with the fear that I was coming down with man flu! I had a list of small irritating questions for her that on their own didn't warrant a trip there but as a list of things I could kind of justify the journey. In fact I went there for advice...no not about girls...all I know about them is that they are in charge of the money! No I am am fact approaching that time in life when one needs to make sure you have the right info regarding Prostate problems! See, now is the time to leave if you don't want to read about this shit! I have a couple of friends who are recovering from Prostate cancer and we get stuff on the TV and in the newspapers about it......and how it can be a problem for men once they are over 50. So I went for some advice and took the long list of other minor problems with me. Anyway, the long and the short of it is...I have the Prostate information....she told me the other rubbish was rubbish and that I was a fine specimen and to go away because there was nothing wrong with me. What will I moan about now?
Well the weekend is upon us...the weather has been wonderful, a return to summer so I am feeling smug that I didn't wimp out and return to long trousers. Well, I did have that one evening but it was dark, wet and cold. But now I am fully committed to staying in them until the end of the month, unless I change my mind!

Today's photo is from the most recent trip...and a sort of windmill shot. Do you remember these windmills? Well today's shot id taken from the access point where I clamber down to these. The building you see here is the first windmill in the line of about 13 stretching down the hill. This one had been converted into a house because of it's proximity to the road. It now seems to have a subsidence problem so is unoccupied. If you have an interest then here is an aerial shot of the area.

Well they closed it down,
With the sails in rags.
And I swept up the fags
And the local mags.

I threw the plastic cups
In the plastic bags,
And the cooks cleaned the kitchen
With the staggers and the jags.

Ruination day,
And the sky was red.
I went back to work,
And back to bed.

And the iceberg broke,
And the Okies fled,
And the Great Emancipator
Took a bullet in the back of the head...
