Bloody swines! They said that they would call me today with a yes or no on the job. Did they call......did they hell! I didn't ought to be surprised with people but I try to see the good and tend to believe people when they tell me stuff. I guess I'm the sucker.
Well I had a little positive thing happen today. I entered a number of images in a national photographic competition and received an email today say two images had been short listed...well I read two images, they were asking for high resolution versions of the photos. I'm pretty bad and never keep the high resolution versions of what I do as no bugger ever asks for them. So I had to try and re-create what they had asked for....2 housr later pulling my hair out I still hadn't arrived at the original look. Then I re-read the email and discovered they were asking for one and it wasn't the one I was agonising over...I think I said piss, fuck or shit! It might have been them all.
I had a bit of an Ebay moment last night.....I have been saving for a scanner and a lens but no I end up firstly winning a Polaroid back for my Hasselblad...that was fine it was cheap but then for some reason I bought a Polaroid 600 SE which is so pretty and yet it blew my scanner fund! I already have two Polaroid's and have never posted a photo from them...because I need the bloody scanner. Now I will have three and still no scanner. I guess it's about more than putting photos up right?...if it makes me feel good then it's fine. This one has all the stuff that a regular camera has so it should be fun...it's the size of a small car but we won't talk about that OK? If any of you have any info about this camera please write me but be nice OK? I might try and scan stuff on the crappy scanner that came with the printer I recently bought...watch this space.

So, today's photo is another from the Royal Victoria Park in Bath. This monument to Queen Victoria is at the entrance to the park. Here is an aerial shot of the monument. As you can see if you browse around this is but spitting distance from The Royal Crescent and many other architectural delights!

BBC correspondent Alan Johnston was abducted in Gaza on 12th March 2007. Video was released in the past few days of him by his captors but still more pressure is needed on the various governments to act. Why not sign the Petition in the hope that it will assist with his early release.

There is a place
Where you can hide away
And let the music in your mind
Just take control
There is a place where
You can fly away
And let the music in your mind
Just start to flow
