Do you ever get those days when there is no peace in your head? I guess it's something most don't think about...not thinking about anything. I suppose when your life is full of family and work and stuff most of us go through the day thinking but not thinking. That's what I want normal thought but every so often I have a day when my mind races, I feel like I am thinking but it's of nothing but my head won't stop. It ends up being self perpetuating kind of generating its own mind fuck. So you NORMAL people out there are thinking....what the fuck is he on about....he's been on the sauce again....I know there are a few out there that know what I mean and are better able to articulate it than I am! So I've been busy....just in my head, It's exhausting, just like someone talking to you non stop but you are unable to tell them to shut the fuck up! I used to take drugs to deal with it but I haven't for many years.
Seven miles walked into town and back. I had a Greek lesson which was great because when you are talking to a real person the noise stops. I desperately need to get back on track with the Greek, it's so important to me but I am such a lazy person...still it was fun and I always surprise myself with how much I have remembered.

And so to today's photo....another windmill I'm afraid or at least part of one. A slightly more detailed look at the derelict windmills near Fourni (Φουρνή). The majority of the windmills I have found are in quite a poor state of repair but very often some of the workings are still in situ. Almost made entirely of wood. Most of what we would expect to be made of metal these days is made of wood....wonderful workmanship! From the dates I have seen carved on the walls of these structures they seem to date form the late 1800's to the 1940's. Anyhow here is a little aerial view of where they are. If you look carefully on the map it appears as if there were 13 or so there at one stage. Have a pan out and a browse about.....the two villages to the south of the windmills are Kastelli(Καστέλλι) on the left and Fourni(Φουρνή) to the right.

BBC correspondent Alan Johnston was abducted in Gaza on 12th March 2007. Why not sign the Petition in the hope that it will assist with his early release.

she's always out making pictures
she's always out making scenes,
she's always out the window
when it comes to making dreams
