Well, I haven't been outside of the door today...lazy ass I hear you shout...and you may have a point! The plan was to catch up on some blog activity this morning and then go for a walk, take some photos. The first part of the plan went very well but as I was about to do the go out bit the skies opened and it basically pissed down for the rest of the day! I won't rant...we've only had a few days of it, give me time, if it keeps up I will have a word or two to say! So I just carried on with the same...sitting on my ass, browsing blogs, processing photos and basically being lazy. The only down side is that after 10 hours of not speaking to anyone my mood always spirals downwards...I love to be alone and yet get lonely. What the hell is that all about?
I am hoping that Saturday will be a fine day as I am off for a steam train ride. I have an early start to go pick up my mother-in-law. Then we get to go to the village of Bishops Lydeard, there we are meeting Jan's sister and her husband and we get to board the steam train which is part of the West Somerset Railway. We have a trip of about one hour I guess to the seaside town of Minehead. The train is a special birthday charter so there should be a nice atmosphere...if the bloody weather stays fine. We have two hours in Minehead then back on the train. It seems to have all the potential for some fun shots...we shall have to see!
Whatever you are doing this weekend I hope you have fun and get to do it with a camera around your neck.

As for today's photo....well it was taken in Crete...that's about all I can tell you. It was on my March trip. I am usually very good at either remembering where it was taken or writing it down, I failed with this one! Holga as you can see, it was very dark inside so it is a hand held B setting, I'm probably wedged between a box of candles and half a gallon of scented oil.

OK I thought a little blatant self promotion was in order, so I have posted a photo over at JPG Mag if you dig it then tell them!

BBC correspondent Alan Johnston was abducted in Gaza on 12th March 2007. Why not sign the Petition in the hope that it will assist with his early release.
