Today was calm, Internet stable, aches gone, walk had, photos taken, second batch of Cretan photos picked up...much joy expressed. The sun shone albeit with a chill in the air. I re-visited the scene of my abuse over the weekend and it seems a good job was done. More work may be required but I am a bit like a goldfish so by the time I am asked to do it I will have no recollection of the pain from last time. I do have one thing to moan about and that is a scratch sustained to my new sunglasses, whilst in Crete I treated myself to a new pair of sunglasses, I am very careful with my stuff...verging on anal but hey we all have our little ways! So I was gutted today whilst taking a stoopid Holga shot to scratch the lens with some barbed wire....I don't usually recover from such trauma I have to say. The only positive thing is that it was on the edge of the glass so I can't see it whilst wearing them...it will take some time to see how the fallout is from this incident...so if I am unable to wear them for psychological reasons it will be reported here first. It's odd really as I care very little about my appearance on a daily basis....it just drives me nuts when things are damaged needlessly....OK Phil stop talking about it. Frittata had for supper with a rather nice bottle of Spanish red wine...food and wine always kills the pain.

Today's photo is another from the recent trip, nothing to tell you about it really other than it was an incredibly pretty day with stunning light, beautiful cloud. I'm sure you get the picture. Thank you all for your lovely comments about yesterday's photo. I was so chuffed with it so to see lots of positive remarks really lifted me. I now have image overload and have to be careful not to overlook any photos.
