My first full week as part of the great unemployed in the UK and as a house husband. I role I embrace readily. Having said all of that I didn't do too much today. We had a nice free range chicken on Sunday so thought I would make some nice chicken stock today so that we could have a chicken risotto tonight....hey hey! I know one swallow doesn't make a summer but we all have to start somewhere! It was that mild I even squeezed in cutting all the lawns that surround me....yes I feel very virtuous indeed! Later today I have another appointment with the social security people about my national insurance....they obviously thought that they could wind me up by asking me to be there at 9am.....and for what? Nothing.....other than my insurance stamp they will pay me nothing. I will load up a few cameras I think and take them for the ride...it will feel like going to work.....must stop using that dirty word!

Today's photo was from a little foray after new year. It was taken very close to Dundas Aqueduct. I have a few images of that wonderful structure but they can wait until another day...or perhaps tomorrow. I enjoyed this one because there was still a stack of leaves around giving it that autumnal feel that I love even though it was January.
OK, so where is Dundas Aqueduct I hear you scream! Perhaps you weren't screaming! But anyway here is a little map to help you along the way! Or if you want to see how pretty it is then click the link before for an aerial photo!
