A quiet day, a day without incident. The weekend is upon us so perhaps I ought to just leave it at that and say no more. It was dry but way to grey for photos. I did settle down and file 7 months worth of negatives which was as boring as hell but productive. Supper slipped into the same mood.....not over exciting but sustaining and enjoyable. We plumped for fishcakes....Haddock I think they were, a little greedy but we had three each accompanied with mashed potatoes and baked beans. I always see this as comfort food and the sort of thing that I will eat all the time when I have no teeth. I was a bit late starting with the drink tonight given it was Friday....you see, first week off of work and the weekend means nothing! Anyway I did manage to polish off the best part of a bottle of wine to myself....perfect Friday evening!
And so to TV...Eastender's did nothing for me......Gardener's World was great but made feel lazy, I had a word with Jan about it and it would appear that I am lazy, which makes it less of a worry I have to say. The cat played the usual games, mainly making me get up when he wanted nothing...walking to the door and crying only for me to open the door and him run back in! He sat by his food for a while and did the same so eventually I fed him only to see him sniff it turn tail, stick his ass in my face.....and I would assume laugh if I knew what his smile looked like!

Well guys the nominations for the Photobloggies have been announced. I am confused, amazed, flattered and humbled. The company is outstanding and all I can say is thank you.

OK, today's photo is taken in Sydney Gardens, a beautiful formal park and garden right in the centre of Bath. The Kennet and Avon canal runs right through it. A very peaceful place but can be the scene of some unsavoury goings on after dark! Anyway, still worth a visit and to that end here is a map.
