Day two of the new regime...well not that there is one yet. 0815: Dragged myself from the pit, so much for the early get up....must say I was surprised to see Jan there...shouldn't she be at work?
0816: Had a brief word with Jan about work and having discovered she wasn't due in until this afternoon explained that she had better not get under my feet! I explained how I was trying to run a tight ship.
0820: As she was at home for a few hours suggested that she make herself useful and make me some coffee.....it was worth a go!
0821: A little heart to heart...Jan pointing out who wore the trousers in the house and where exactly my place was....it would appear it is 3rd after the cat. Still, I didn't let it spoil my day.
0930: Still licking my wounds had a browse on the internet.
1030: Took a call from the Social Security people. I had to have some bloody telephone interview regarding an allowance I know I'm not entitled to...they knew it and I knew it but they said until I had answered all the bloody questions they wouldn't tell me.
1100: Interview finished...lying bastards...it would appear I will learn in a letter...sometime soon! Why did I do the interview I hear you ask! Well they need to pay my national insurance contributions which makes sure I get my old age pension, so they kind of have you over a barrel.
1101: Buried head in pillow and screamed C**K twenty times......feel much better as a result.
1230: Financial rubbish in town.
1350: Enjoyable walk to see friend for coffee and take small gifts for poorly small daughters. Interesting and fun conversation punctuated by calls from various rooms in the house asking for various foods and drinks.
1600: Left 10 minutes to late....heavy rain, no money for bus fare and 20 minutes walk to the nearest cash machine...no umbrella...such joy! Money obtained and then twenty minutes on steaming crowded bus with workers....very unsavoury! The smell of hard work is very unpleasant.
1631: Then the realisation I am on the wrong bloody bus....well not the most convenient, this one would drop me a walk from home....life is so sweet at times.
1710: Home sweet home.......now had to explain to cat where I had been and why I hadn't left food. Not sure how to tackle this..........

Another shot from a walk a few weeks ago. Not sure what it's original use was but seemed to be being used for an animal shelter when I found it. It was in the most beautiful location right at the bottom of a severely steep grass hill which made it almost invisible and right by the river Avon. If it was mine I would have kitted it out with home comforts and disappeared down there to be alone. It also has a wonderful view across the valley to the American Museum and within your view a river, canal, railway and road. Perfect planning. Anyway, here's a little map for you so that you can visit as well if you wish and back there I have also included a link to the American Museum, a fascinating place.

OK guys it's that Photobloggies time of year, there are categories to excite all of you. It doesn't matter who you vote for but vote! I'm not sure if it's the law but if it's not it should be. So get voting. Don't delay just do it today! you have until 15th February, the clock is a ticking....one day left...just one day!
