I was contemplating some colour tonight but I am enjoying the black and white at the moment so it may continue for a short while!
The ringing of church bells and the waving about of religious artifacts is always enough to bring people out onto the streets. This is generally the end result. The crush is usually very orderly and the beautiful thing is that young or old they all behave with equal calmness and respect. I never tire of Easter in Crete.
